2015-2018: Adjunct Instructor, Saint Louis University
  • Teaches Advanced Rhetoric and Research and The Writing Process, designing lessons with multiple learning strategies that emphasize the writing process and the importance of effective writing
  •  Incorporates technological tools such as Turnitin.com to discuss plagiarism, Google Docs for peer editing workshops, and Socrative Learning for formative assessment and daily review
  • Promotes ethical leadership, social responsibility and professional excellence through class discussion regarding plagiarism and academic honesty
  • Integrates cooperative learning activities, such as peer editing workshops, to demonstrate the process of drafting an essay and also guided rubrics and examples to create clarity on assignment expectations.

  • Designed the curriculums for Central Methodist University-St. Louis Adult Degree program’s 8-week hybrid classes, including Introduction to Literature and Expository Writing
